Gaelic Sport: Thomas McCurtains elect officers for season at Annual General Meeting

Tom Watson has been elected as the president of the Thomas McCurtains GAA club for the forthcoming year.
Watson’s election to the post came during the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which took place last month.
Gerry O’Connell was elected as vice-president, with John O’Dwyer assuming the role of chairman and Jim Sheridan named vice-chairman.
Other elected to roles were: Gavin Gallagher (secretary); Kevin Delahunty (assistant secretary); James McDermott (treasurer); Michael O’Leary (assistant treasurer); Richard Ellis (PRO); Kieran Dowling (assistant PRO); Jason Brennan (football registrar); Dean Corrigan (hurling registrar); Martin McGovern (development officer); Brian Hourihane (social secretary); Darragh McNulty, Caomhan Seoige and Paudi O’Shea (all social committee); Camohan Seoige (Irish officer); David Meade (health and wellbeing officer); and Jim Sheridan and Alan Power (county board delegates).
Elsewhere, the club’s hurling team have returned to training ahead of the new season.
Sessions take place at the Rivergate Centre in Minter Road, Barking every Tuesday and Thursday from 8-9pm.
