A round-up of the latest news from the Thomas McCurtains GAA club

Thomas McCurtains return to action this weekend with both their men’s footballers and hurlers hosting important matches.

Both games take place at the club’s Goodmayes Hospital Sports Ground base on Saturday, with the footballers up first at 3pm.

McCurtains welcome Dulwich Harps in their third McArdle Cup group stage game, with both clubs desperate for the win.

The hurlers, meanwhile, will play immediately after the footballers’ clash, with a scheduled start time of 4.30pm.

In that game, McCurtains welcome St Declan’s for a preliminary round match in the London Intermediate Championship.

Victory in both matches will give McCurtains a good chance to be toasting success come the end of the season.

New players are always welcome to join the club, with Gaelic football and hurling teams for both men and ladies from under-eights up to adults.

For more information, find the club on Facebook and Twitter, or alternatively email thomasmccurtains@hotmail.com.
