Lee Valley Lions suffered a heavy 14-1 defeat to Chelmsford Chieftains on the opening day of the new season.

Ayling then netted twice before Jones scored for the visitors to make it 3-1 at the end of the first period.

The hosts then run riot and added another eleven goals in the first two periods of the match to seal the points.
