Ade Abayomi’s youngster move up to 17th after earning fourth league success of the campaign
Tower Hamlets made it back-to-back wins in the Essex Senior League after a strong second half showing at home to Enfield.
Ade Abayomi’s men welcomed the Harlow-based club to the Mile End Stadium on Saturday.
Hamlets went into the contest in fine form after a 5-0 thrashing over London Bari on Tuesday night.
But they didn’t make the best of starts as Enfield took the lead after half an hour through Andrew Tirivanhu.
The hosts responded quickly, however, as Kamon Asidio converted a penalty just four minutes later.
It remained level heading into half time in front of a healthy crowd of 57 people in east London.
The next goal was always likely to be key and fortunately for Hamlets it went their way.
Adetokunbo Orenaike managed to find the net to put Abayomi’s team in the driving seat at Mile End in the 56th minute.
Hamlets boss made a double substitute 11 minutes later with Rahim Bamba and Diawara Ibrahima introduced.
Yusuf Ali and Ruben Nasco were the duo to make way and the switch paid dividends soon after.
Bamba found the net with 19 minutes remaining to put Hamlets 3-1 up and that was how it finished.
The Mile End club have moved up to 17th as a result and now have 14 points from their 13 games this season.
Next up for Abayomi’s talented youngsters is a trip to Ryman Premier outfit Wingate & Finchley in the first round of the London Senior Cup.
