Clapton Rangers failed to take their chances in their London FA Sunday Challenge Cup semi-final and were dumped out by holders Baldon Sports, who won 3-1 after extra-time.

The Hackney side took the game to the opposition with an Ashley Taylor goal forcing the game into extra time.

Clapton had chances to win the encounter, but were thwarted by Baldon, whose two goals in the extra half hour meant they reached the final for the second year running.

Midfield fought back from a goal down to defeat Division Two rivals Big Kahuna in the quarter-finals of the Jack Morgan Cup, with Dan Skeels, Chris Byrne, Stephen Rigione and Michael Parker on target.

AC Islington are another side who battled back to win as they beat Division Three leaders Hackney Borough 4-2 after extra time.

Borough were 2-0 up, but Islington showed great fighting spirit, with goals from Terry Brown, John Barfoot, Paul Wiggin and Chris Bland enough to take the north London side through to the semis.
