Millwall Albion have completed the first leg of a possible East London Sunday League treble after lifting the Jubilee Cup

Millwall Albion have completed the first leg of a possible East London Sunday League treble after lifting the Jubilee Cup following a thrilling extra-time victory over Rolls Park.

The Isle of Dogs side, who are newcomers to the league this season, became only the second club from outside the top flight to win the trophy as two goals in the second half of extra-time proved decisive.

The teams had ended normal time locked at 2-2, but Millwall (pictured celebrating their opening goal) showed superior fitness in the extra period and two late goals sealed a memorable triumph.

There was cup final disappointment for fellow Isle of Dogs side White Swan and Cuckoo, whose East London Cup bid ended in a penalty shootout defeat by Leyton Trades.

White Swan and Cuckoo had fought back to level late in the final, but Trades edged the shootout 3-2 to secure the cup triumph.

Arbour Athletic warmed up for this weekend's John and Christopher Egan Memorial Cup final with a one-sided rout of Young Prince.

The Stepney side scored 13 unanswered goals in the friendly encounter, with Leroy Kemai netting six times and John Gilroy hitting four goals. Nick Fautley, Mickel Oswald and Matt Wheeler were also on target.

Arbour will meet Queensbridge Rangers in Saturday's final, which takes place at Ive Farm and will raise money for the St Joseph Hospice fund.

Queensbridge overcame East Moore B 2-0 in extra-time to book their final place.

Springfield have also reached a cup final after overcoming Stratford Juniors in the East London Advertiser Hospice Cup.

The Clapton outfit recorded a 3-1 semi-final triumph over holders Stratford to set up a final showdown with William Fitt Lions.
