Meath United's quest for an East London Sunday League double came to and end on Sunday following a Senior Cup semi-final defeat by Hackney Downs.
The Bow outfit remain on course to repeat as Premier Division winners ahead of a decisive showdown against championship rivals Inter Lucia this weekend, which will determine the destination of the league title.
But Meath's hopes of a Senior Cup triumph were ended as Hackney Downs fought back from a second-half deficit to seal a 2-1 win and set up a final date with league leaders Inter.
Meath were guilty of some glaring misses during an open first half at Hackney Marshes, but took the lead five minutes after the restart when Chriss Baker fired home following a mix-up in the Downs defence.

Yet Hackney Downs hit back to equalise 15 minutes from time and struck again in the final stages to condemn Meath to a semi-final exit and increase the pressure on the champions ahead of this weekend's title decider.
Division One promotion hopefuls Arbour Athletic also suffered an upset in the semi-finals of the East London Cup as the Stepney side crashed to a 3-1 defeat against Leyton Trades, who meet league newcomers White Swan and Cuckoo in the final.

The Isle of Dogs team edged past last-four opponents Queensbridge Rangers after a penalty shootout decided a thrilling tie that had ended 3-3 after normal time.
In Division One, Stoke Newington showed remarkable powers of recovery to pile more misery on Byron Athletic. Byron had held a two-goal lead early in the encounter, but the Hackney side, who suffered a heartbreaking Jubilee Cup semi-final defeat the previous week, stormed back to score six without reply and assume top spot in the division.
Former leaders Adriatiku slipped up against lowly East Moore B, crashing to a 3-0 defeat, while Millwall Albion and Springfield remain in the promotion picture following comfortable victories over Gervic Palace and East End United respectively.
In Division Three, Hoxton's New North Rangers maintained their three point advantage at the top of the table with a hard fought 3-1 win over Concordia Under-18s.
