Sporting Bengal 5 Enfield 0

Prince William was the hat-trick hero as Sporting Bengal produced a five-start display to beat Enfield at Mile End Stadium last night.

William opened the scoring on 20 minutes, racing away on the right wing from halfway and firing an angled shot inside the far post, with Tunde Adewunmi adding a second on the stroke of half time.

And William struck again on 50 minutes to make it 3-0, before completing his treble on the hour.

Adewunmi rounded off a superb night for Anwar Uddin’s side with his second goal 10 minutes from time to give them a lift ahead of their FA Vase with with Halstead Town on Saturday.

Uddin tweeted: “Really good @SportingBengal 5-0 home win but delighted for @William11Prince who got his 1st senior hat-trick #3points #CleanSheet.”

Adetunji opened the scoring on 17 minutes, but Forest hit back to level just past the hour mark through Elie Mbangu.

The home side’s joy was shortlived, though,as Adetunji claimed his second goal six minutes later to seal victory for the visitors.
