Essex Senior League: Takeley 3 Tower Hamlets 0

Tower Hamlets saw their losing streak reach seven games in the Essex Senior League with a 3-0 defeat at Takeley.

Hamlets headed to Station Road looking for their first win in the league since beating Southend Manor at home on March 5.

However, those hopes were dashed a little in the first half as Takeley took the lead midway through the opening 45 minutes.

The hosts then added to their advantage midway through the second period to take control of the game.

With time almost up, Hamlets conceded a third as they saw their losing streak in the league continue.

The east Londoners will hope their luck changes on Saturday when they make the trip to FC Romania in the league.

Hamlets will hope one of their final three league games this term yields a win as they look to avoid ending the current Essex Senior League season in disappointing form.
