Tower Hamlets joint-manager Ade Abayomi is expecting a tough test against Little Oakley in the FA Vase.

Abayomi and his men host the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties First Division outfit in a bid to progress through the cup competition and £750 prize money at the Mile End Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

Hamlets go into the clash on the back of six wins in a row and Abayomi could not be happier with his side.

“There are no easy games,” he said.

“It’s a cup game they will want to do well and get into the next round and so will we.

“We will not under-estimate Little Oakley either.”

The manager admits the opposition are unknown quality, but is expecting a tough test.

“They’re a little unknown, but for them to be in this round we know they must have done something right, so we’re expecting a tough game but we’re prepared for it.”

Tower Hamlets could make a few changes to the line-up ahead of the match and Abayomi believes he has a selection headache on his hands.

“It’s all about availability and the boys are making things easy and hard at the same time for us, as we had injuries and suspensions on Tuesday, yet all the players that came in done the job.

“It’s a good headache to have, but it all comes down to who we think plays best in that position.”

The boss also spoke about how important the FA Vase is for the club and how it can boost them financially.

“It’s the only major cup we have got left,” Abayomi said.

“It’s another dream to win it and the further you go the more money the club makes.”
