Forward thanked for efforts with team

London Raiders have announced the release of import Kamil Kinkor.

The Czech Republic forward was signed during the summer, after an impressive debut season with Streatham, but had managed just two goals and one assist in five matches so far this season.

Raiders have just one win to their name to date, a 4-2 success over Bracknell on Sunday, and are due to host the Isle of Wight in a National League cup fixture this coming weekend, after suffering a 9-3 loss on the island in a bad-tempered affair last weekend.

A statement on the club’s Facebook page said: “This is an amicable decision following agreeable discussions with Kamil and the team would like to thank Kamil for his efforts pre-season and over the past three weekends.

“He showed a genuine enthusiasm for the challenge that was set for him.

“We also extend our best wishes to Kamil and his family and future health and success both on and off the ice.”
