NewVic began the day with an 11-run win over UEL.

Batting first, NewVic struck 102-5 from their 10 overs with A Hussain (29) and captain Sohail Khan (19) the two top scorers.

Skipper Scott Silver (29) got the UEL run-chase off to a good start, before A Butt (20) chipped in.

But Sabik Ahmed (1-24) impressed with the ball, as the University of East London fell short on 91-4.

NewVic backed up their win with another quickly afterwards, beating Tower Hamlets by a slender margin of six runs.

Again, NewVic batted first and posted a respectable total of 93 all out with the influential Sabik Ahmed (11) run out off the final ball of the innings.

Nazmul Ahmed (37) led the charge for Tower Hamlets, but more good work from Sabik Ahmed (1-15) saw NewVic home.

Barking & Dagenham College also managed to edge past Tower Hamlets in the last match of the day, claiming a two-wicket victory.

Tower Hamlets reached 90 all out in their innings, largely thanks to Sadik Ahmed (45) after impressive work from opening bowlers Abdul Rehman (2-30) and Jawad Khan (2-23).

Captain Jakir Hussain (25) and Kamran Ali (22) got Barking off to a blistering start, only to see the side slip to 81-3.

However, Jawad Khan (7) saw Barking & Dagenham to another vital victory as they look to maintain their current position of fourth in the table.
