Peacock BC coach Andre Olley has turned up the heat on rivals Repton by promising to outduel the Bethnal Green club in this year's ABA championships.
The national title trail gets underway tomorrow night with the North East London divisional championships at Dukes Hall, Hornchurch and Repton will take a formidable squad to the opening round of the event.
But Peacock chief Olley this week unleashed an opening salvo by insisting the Canning Town outfit can outperform Repton for a second straight year and bring home more titles than the club nicknamed the Home of Champions.
"It was great for a club like ours to win more London titles than the big names like Repton last year - and we'll be doing our best to do the same again," blasted the Peacock coach.

Last year's national super-heavyweight finalist Damien Campbell and amateur internationals Oscar Webb and Martin Ward headline the Repton line-up, with the action due to start at 7pm.
Winners at the North East divisional championships will advance to the London semi-finals, which take place at York Hall next week.

Repton youngsters celebrated a successful showing at the NACYP semi-finals on Sunday after booking final places in all three age groups on Sunday.
In the Class A Under-60kg section, Andrew Doe continued his improved form after coming through against Welsh opponent Adam Goldsmith, from Cwmbran ABC.
Goldsmith put up tough semi final opposition but it was the Bethnal Green club hopeful who landed the more effective shots to clinch his final place.
Repton fighter Sammy McNess also looked impressive as he forced the exit of Devon opponent Scott Wilson, picking his shots well to make sure of the decision in the Class B Under-63kg clash.
In an entertaining Class C Under-69kg encounter, Tom Baker booked a final spot with a dominant defeat of Northern Ireland rival Conrad Cummings.
But there was a semi-final setback for Repton's Jimmy Smith, who fell to a points defeat against skilful St Joseph's fighter Nathan Thorley.
There was also disappointment for Louie Rose and Raza Mohammed, who were eliminated at the semi-final stage.
