A rising boxing star has won the first fight of his professional career at Bethnal Green’s York Hall.
Mike Evans, 24, won the match, at one of Britain’s most famous boxing venues, after stoppage was given 96 seconds into the fourth round.
Mike, from Suffolk, began boxing in 2006, and in his amateur career has won 16 fights out of 19, and been chosen to box for England.
Thanks to the support of Suffolk-based CAS Clarks document storage he has been able to get a licence as a professional boxer.
Mike said: “The support from my family, friends and sponsor has been amazing and made my professional debut yesterday an unreal experience; a special day in my life which I’ve been working so hard towards.”
