Carrot Cars to continue sponsorship

Millwall Rugby Club has announced the continuation of their sponsorship deal with Carrot Cars.

The local company is backing the 2nd XV for another season and their support has been hailed as critical to the club, with funding enabling them to continue to develop, and offer facilities for training, playing and supporting rugby, which is particularly important in this World Cup year.

Millwall’s sponsorshp officer Sophie Morris said: “We are delighted that Carrot Cars are keen to continue their support of the club. It is a great partnership and their sponsorship will make a real difference to the contribution we can make to sport and fitness locally.”

Adam Wiltsher, of Carrot Cars, added: “It is with great pleasure that we are able to extend our sponsorship of Millwall Rugby Club. We hope that our support can help the club with the projects that they are undertaking and also steer them towards huge success for the upcoming season.

“Carrot Cars is proud to be involved with such a fantastic part of our local community.”

n Millwall are actively recruiting new players too for the new year fitness drive.

Experienced players and beginners are welcome at Monday or Wednesday night training sessions (7pm).

Complete beginners and lapsed players might prefer to join the “Return to Rugby” course every Saturday morning aimed at teaching adults all the basics they need to start playing.
