Skills video could land rugby clubs £5,000

With the world’s best professional rugby skills on display in the Rugby World Cup, car insurance provider 1st Central has launched a nationwide campaign to pinpoint the best ball skills in the country – and is offering £5,000 to the club that produces the most jaw-dropping trick shots on video.

The 1st Central Rugby Trick Shot Challenge asks clubs across the nation to showcase their skills, athleticism and showmanship in video form for the chance to win £5,000 funding for the development of their club.

Any club looking to enter rugby trick shots for this competition must upload their video to 1ST CENTRAL’s Facebook page and the video with the most ‘Likes’ and ‘Shares’ will scoop the prize. The competition will run until 30th November 2015.

1st Central UK CEO Andy James hopes the competition attracts high-quality submissions as teams bid to outdo one another

“We thought it would be good for some rugby rivalry between the clubs to see who has the best skills but then thought we would open it out to all clubs so we look forward to seeing their best shots,” he said.
