National Cup: Bow 0 Marshalls Park 10

Marshalls Park’s under-13 girls produced a clinical display to progress in the National Cup.

Within three minutes Ruby Tibbs lobbed the Bow keeper from outside the box to open the scoring.

And Katie Johnson added a second before Amber Le Beau’s quickfire hat-trick, including a fine left-footed drive into the corner of the net.

Jessie Ellis and Katie Smith got inn on the act before Ellie Cunningham added a brace.

And Kelsey Skilbeck completed the rout by taking Park into double figures and the next round.

It was a solid team performance by the Romford pupils, who were also praised by Bow’s coach for their sportsmanship and attitude.

Marshalls Park coach Miss Whitley said: “The girls were awesome. They played really well but were conscious of showing good sportsmanship throughout. I am really proud of them and hope we can continue our run in the ESFA Cup.”
