Raphael Veras took a squad of four to Las Vegas and they didn’t disappoint
Veras Academy enjoyed more success recently, this time at the USA Open Karate Championships in Las Vegas.
Head instructor Raphael Veras took a squad of four to the event with three boys and one girls making the trip.
Over 42 countries and 2,400 competitors took part and travelled to the USA to take part in the competition.
Veras represented Great Britain and returned home with four medals after several excellent performances.

Lulu Brown won gold in the 12-13 years open weight intermediate category while Luan Veras also triumphed in the same age category for -45kg advanced.
Luca Veras won gold in the eight-nine years open weight advanced category while Liam Veras picked up bronze in the 10-11 years open weight advanced category.
