VICTORIA Park & Tower Hamlets AC lead all three major sections of the Assembley Athletics League after the latest meeting held around Victoria Park last week.

Paul Martelletti, pictured, heads the mens individual placings with 72 points, five better off than his nearest rival P Tucker of Ravens School. VP &TH's Dave Alcock is also in the top six men with 54 points.

Lara Bromilow leads the women placings. She has 44 points - 11 more than her closest rival O Balme.

VP&TH top the mens A table, with an 18 point tally, 20 less than second placed Stock Exchange team with Kent AC third.

The mens B also top their section. They have 80 points and a clear advantage over a second placed Stock Exchange team who have more than double VP&TH's tally with a 165 point total. Dulwich Runners, 223 points are third in this one.

The Victoria Park club are also way ahead in the womens' placings with just six points, compared to second placed Serpentine AC with 29 . VP&TH's own B string have 31 points and third place.
