MASTERCHEF TV presenter Loyd Grossman is taking a night off from his sauce empire, returning to his former, if slightly briefer career, as a punk rocker tonight (Thursday) in Whitechapel. For one night only, his band Jet Bronx and The Forbidden are reforming for a gig at The Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel High-street.
MASTERCHEF TV presenter Loyd Grossman is taking a night off from his sauce empire, returning to his former, if slightly briefer career, as a punk rocker tonight (Thursday) in Whitechapel.
For one night only, his band Jet Bronx and The Forbidden are reforming for a gig at The Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel High-street.
High on the set list their hit punk-rock ditty Ain't Doin' Nothing, which sold more than 15,000 copies in 1977 and reached the 'dizzy heights' of number 49 in the charts.
They will be supported at tonight's reunion gig by fellow punks, the interestingly-named Scrotum Clamp, Secret Cinema and Oiz II Men.
