An exhibition charting the 21 year career of legendary Britpop group Blur will open in Shoreditch next Friday (July 27).

More than 70 images from artists, designers and photographers will document the band’s extraordinary journey, from the release of their debut album “Leisure” in 1991 to their triumphant return headlining Glastonbury in 2009.

The exhibition will include shots taken by rock photographers, including Pennie Smith, Paul Postle and Kevin Cummins, as well as contributions from street artist Banksy.

Exhibition curator Dave Brolan said: “Blur have always collaborated with the best photographers, artists and graphic designers to create a powerful visual identity that perfectly reflects their music and ideas.
