Kids are being urged to bring their gran and grandpa to the Museum of London Docklands for a special time next month.
The museum is holding a ‘Bring Your Grandparents’ day at West India Quay in Canary Wharf on May 5.
“We know how much grandparents do for families,” said a museum spokesman. “So we want the family to come to our free events and to say thank you to them.”
Events include making jewellery and traditional Nakshi Katha, how to knit, weave or croche and Grandmother Ruthie telling stories about growing up in the East End.
