An event celebrating urban music culture and encouraging the next wave of music professionals takes place in east London this weekend.

Urban Development’s third Industry Takeover at Rich Mix, Bethnal Green, will be an all-day seminar and showcase on Saturday (April 16) aimed at educating and entertaining anyone interested in getting into the music business.

Confirmed acts include Wretch 32, Kano, Twin B, Chantelle Fiddy and JP Patterson, who will be taking part in panels as well as performing.

Budding MCs, singers, DJs and music industry professionals will be able to get insider knowledge and tips from industry stalwarts such as N-Dubz manager Jonathan Shallit, Jessie J promoter Will Blake and Island Records’ product manager Twin B Alex.
