SPONGEBOB Squarepants will be surfacing on the stage at the Hackney Empire today (Tuesday).
The musical stage version of the hit Nickelodeon TV cartoon will see the sea sponge joined by his friend Patrick the starfish and other creatures from Bikini Bottom as he embarks on an adventure to make his dream of flying with jellyfish come true.
Children can find out if he will take flight or if his dream will come crashing down to the ocean floor.
Spongebob Squarepants - The Sponge Who Could Fly is on at the Hackney Empire until Sunday, February 8.
Tickets cost �15-�25 for adults, with 50 per cent off for under 18s. Family tickets cost �70.
