An assortment of oversized parcels will be crash landing at street festivals across the country this summer, starting at Greenwich this weekend.

It’s all part of a new outdoor free show for children called Brown Paper Packages, each mysteriously addressed ‘a friend’.

Kazzum theatre company is inviting children to find out what’s inside the packages—to take a peek, read the message tags and watch as the packages unfold to reveal a series of pop-up landscapes.

They will meet the quirky characters with their gifts of laughter, play and friendship in this interactive show for young audiences as they help unwrap the Brown Paper Packages and discover stories inside.

Brown Paper Packages is premiered at the Greenwich & Docklands Festival, next to the Cutty Sark, on Saturday (June 23) and Sunday, 2.10pm and 4.35pm, before moving to the Milton Keynes Festival July 21 and 22.
