COMEDY lovers will get a rare chance to see stand-up master Lee Hurst perform his one-man show in Bethnal Green this month.
The East End comedian, who shot to fame as a regular on the 1990s' sports quiz show, They Think It's All Over, takes centre stage at TheFymFyg Bar in Cambridge Heath Road, where he is a regular compere, next Sunday (August 30).
Stand-up fans will be able to feast on a full evening of Hurst's quickwire, observational wit, and audience members are being invited to bring along unwanted possessions which the comic will attempt to sell off during the middle Leebay Auction section of the show.
Shrinking violets should be warned that audience participation may be required.
