TEENAGER Lee Wood was 'chuffed' to see people looking at his work on show in the park.
The 18-year-old art and design student was one of the exhibitors from adult learning courses in London's East End to put their work on public show this week.
Some 700 pieces went on display at the Arts Pavilion at Mile End Park.
The pavilion was overflowing with their creations, from paintings and drawings to photographs and sculptures.
Lee displayed his photographs and a three-dimensional model at the exhibition, after having passed his Level 2 Art & Design course at Tower Hamlets' Shadwell Centre. Now he wants to go onto Level 3 to go to university.
More than 1,000 courses are planned from September at 'Life Learning' centres in Tower Hamlets, along with creative arts classes.
Wannabe scholars can choose from languages and computing to photography and ceramics.
