TIRED of being sexy, CSS's lead singer Lovefoxx is set to spin some discs to get festival-goers bopping in Shoreditch Park this weekend.

Also joining the main stage for tomorrow's (Sunday) 1234 Shoreditch Festival will be Tim Burgess from The Charlatans, who will also be doing a DJ set.

Indie band The Rakes made their name with 22 Grand Job, a ramshackle punk anthem about getting wasted in Old Street on a Friday night.

Now the art rock trio will headline the ultra-hip Shoreditch Now 1234 festival just yards away from Hoxton's famous night-time scene.

Dressed in their obligatory drainpipe jeans and striped shirts, the art rock trio deliver supersmart rock anthems about life in the city.

The annual event organised by legendary promoter Sean McClusky is a celebration of the area's ever-changing music scene.

Alongside The Rakes, oddball singer-songwriter Patrick Wolf will bring his eclectic mix of electronica, folk and pop to the main stage.

There will be performances from Californians The Warlocks, making a rare appearance this side of the Atlantic, and ethereal singer-songwriter Polly Scattergood will perform an electro dance pop set.

This year the Shoreditch 1234 festival will charge �15 a ticket in order to pay for the fencing. The price of a ticket includes entry to the many aftershow parties taking place in Shoreditch venues afterwards.

The first one was totally oversubscribed and it had been a very rainy summer and to secure the park again we had to fence the festival," said Mr McClusky

More than 6,000 revellers are expected to flock to Shoreditch Park tomorrow (Sunday) for the eclectic music extravaganza.
