SOUL lovers can embark on an evening of live music with singer Mica Paris in a special Valentine's concert.

As the UK's Soul Queen, Mica is once again concentrating on her first love, music, after a dalliance with TV presenting and writing books.

Last year saw Mica release her first studio album in more than 10 years as well as a full UK tour which reminded her What Not to Wear followers what first put her in the spotlight more than 20 years ago.

Mica's current album Born Again was released last May and was produced by 'hitmaker' Brian Rawling whose recent single Broken Strings for James Morrison and Nelly Furtado was number one worldwide.

And Morrison wrote the first single from Mica's new album, up tempo, retro tune Baby Come Back Now.

Mica will perform songs from her current album as well as classics including her first top 10 single You are My One Temptation at Rich Mix in Bethnal Green Road on Saturday, 22 years after it first hit the charts.

Folk Soul Brother, also known as John Gibbons, who has worked with Luther Vandross, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Joe Cocker, Tori Amos, Yusuf Islam and Razorlight will support Mica at the gig.

The performance starts at 8pm tonight (Saturday) and tickets cost 20 on the door and 15 in advance from www.richmix.org.uk or 020 7613 7498.
