SOUTHWEST London cocktail bar chain Be At One has set up shop in the East End.

The company recently took over as leaseholder at the former City Limits wine bar in Spitalfields to open its ninth venture.

Be At One boast "proper bartenders who know their mixes" and serve classic drinks plus a few weird ones.

The chain was founded ten years ago by three bartenders who were determined to bring good customer service and consistency to the cocktail bar trade.

Be At One Battersea opened its doors in May 1998 and 11 years later the company has added its ninth site to the chain with the new bar in Brushfield Street.

The menu features 191 cocktails including classics such as a Sazerac, a classic champagne cocktail, with brown sugar with bitters, cognac and Mumm champagne and a breakfast martini, with Wyborowa vodka and cointreau with lemon juice and a spoonful of marmalade.

Bartenders undergo a rigorous eight-week training programme to ensure drinks are served consistently and taste as they should.

Happy hour is from 5-8pm Monday-Wednesday and 5-7pm Thursday-Sunday plus two-for-one offers on bartender's choice cocktails on Saturdays.

Be At One Spitalfields is at 16-18 Brushfield Street, Spitalfields and is open from 5pm-midnight Sunday to Wednesday and 5pm-1am Thursday to Saturday.
