Firstly he tries his hand at a chat show and his first guest Paula Abdul is asked to eat sushi off a naked man's body while sat on a Mexican gardener.
When his chat show and an attempt at making a sex tape fail, he's off to the Middle East to try to solve the problems there - again with hilarious results. For example, he mixes up Hamas with hummus. He asks the leader of a terrorist group why Osama (Bin Laden) doesn't lose the beard as it makes him look like a "dirty wizard".
Having notched up another laugh-out-loud disaster, he makes a detour to pick up what he hopes will be his surefire entry into the world of celebrity - an African baby.
Well, it worked for Angelina and Madonna. Just watching the reaction of a talk show audience to his pictures of the child is priceless.
When he decides that being extremely gay is the reason why he hasn't become famous, he decides to go straight.
That leads him to joining the Alabama National Guard and calling his instructor a "Queen of a General", finding camouflage too "matchy-matchy" and trying to turn "hetero" by visiting Christian ministers, one of whom advises against playing the clarinet.
Comparisons with Borat are inevitable. Maybe, it's not as funny as it does mine much of the same material - but it is much more outrageous in its execution and one of the funniest films of the year, a definite must-see.
